Hi and welcome to the spring 2022 update. Things have been ticking over in the BT camp over the past few months so here’s a brief overview of what’s been going on:

As those of you who attended The Fleece gig will have noticed we played without Cliff. Cliff is recovering from a major operation, one which will mean he’s out of action for the time being. He will be back and I’m sure everyone will join us in wishing a speedy and successful recovery – get well soon mate! For The Fleece gig we hijacked our old friend Chris Faice, who had previously stood in for Glenn on a number of occasions.

Gig wise a number of planned gigs at the beginning of the year were pulled due to the uncertainty of COVID-19. 2020 / 21 saw a huge downturn in the number of gigs performed by BT and the cancellations at the beginning of the year also left their mark, but gigs are starting to return (see tour dates). As mentioned above The Skids gig at The Fleece was a momentous evening – sold out venue and 3 bands playing on top form, here’s to more like it!

The absence of playing live has kickstarted the creation of new tracks, and four of the five written so far have been aired at gigs. We are hoping at some point to go in and record as part of our third studio album. Speaking of which Year Of The Mayfly is now available on vinyl and looks / sounds amazing. Head over to our merch page for more details.
